Primary responsibilties:
- Receiving, inspecting and booking in sheet metal parts.
- Picking from electronic and manual pick lists.
- Supplying parts and materials to Production Departments in an accurate and timely manner.
- Handling raw material and work in progress.
- Moving & stacking boxes, materials and work in progress.
- Manually and electronically processing relevant paperwork and transactions.
- Regular lifting, manoeuvring and handling of materials.
- Participation in regular stock control counts.
- Perform other tasks deemed appropriate to the role to allow for continuous improvement & development.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail is key to ensure sheet metal parts meet the required standards and specifications.
- Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, materials, and standards.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and determine the best course of action to rectify them.
- The successful candidate will need to have good communication skills as the duties will include liaising with production Departments and management to relay findings and recommendations.
- Proficiency in using various measuring instruments for accurate inspections.

- 37.50 Hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8.00 – 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00 - 12.30 pm (Early finish on a Friday).
