PRODUCTION OPERATIVE – FINAL ASSEMBLY

We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Production Operative to join a busy, friendly team within our Final Assembly Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn a new role and new skills. You will be supported with on-the-job training and development opportunities to further your career.

Primary responsibilties:

Assemble a wide range of Furnaces and Ovens which consists of taking a variety of electrical and mechanical parts and sub-assemblies to produce the products.
To liaise with in-house personnel as required to resolve build and design issues.
Correct completion of time sheets ensuring correct routing codes are used and the correct time is booked to the individual codes.
To have an awareness of deviations in stock levels; overstocks and shortages and discuss with the relevant person.
Work to set deadlines with strict adherence to Quality principles.

Key skills and qualifications:

Basic electrical knowledge.
Able to read drawings.
Able to follow standard working practices.
Experience in a Manufacturing/Production Environment and electrical knowledge or previous assembly experience would be a distinct advantage but not essential as full training can be given to the right applicant.

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
37.50 Hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8.00 – 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00 - 12.30 pm (Early finish on a Friday).
