QATM takes care of metallographic sample preparation and hardness testing and ERWEKA is our producer of pharmaceutical testing devices.. Verder Scientific operates 13 production sites and eleven sales companies worldwide and are part of the German-Dutch technology group Verder, a group of companies with over 2000 employees around the globe.
Doing what is fun
- Have deeper understanding of metallurgical principles, phase transformations, heating applications such as annealing, ashing, asphalt binder analysis, sintering, smelting etc.
- Specify technical requirements for temperature uniformity, atmosphere control, heating rates, etc. based on application needs
- Conduct technical evaluations, testing and validation to optimize furnace/oven appliactions for various heat treatment processes
- Stay updated on emerging heat treatment technologies, industry trends, new materials and applications
- Provide technical guidance to sales teams and directly engage with customers on complex applications
- Create business models and analyze competitive landscape
- Develop and monitor data-driven analytics
- Mentor employees to help them achieve individual & team objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science/Engineering or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in heat treatment product management or metallurgical operations
- Proven track record of successful product commercialisation in the thermal processing industry
- In-depth knowledge of industrial furnace design, operations and control systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional project management skills
- Ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements for product development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
