A vacancy exists for a:  Export Sales Manager
 
You’ll will be responsible for managing, maintaining and developing customer relationships for our current and new customers and distributors, with main focus on non-UK/EU markets. You’ll drive a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing demand, understanding customer needs, and identifying and delivering opportunities to grow the Endecotts brand in our global market. You will also manage and support the Sales Account Manager UK/USA.  
You will report to the Managing Director and work closely with the Customer Service Administration team and parts of our sister company based in Germany.  
This role will be predominately office based with some travel required to Germany, RoW customers and exhibition visits.  
 

Primary responsibilties:

  • Commercial support for global distributors and customers via phone and e-mail or during seminars, exhibitions, or customer visits on site, a good understanding of the products will be essential. 
  • Predominantly distributor management with some end customer communication. 
  • Develop and implement global brand strategy with support from MD and German based Sales Director. 
  • Responsible for finding new customers and distribution globally, targeting key markets.  
  • Work closely with sales administration team.  
  • Work with marketing team in the UK and Germany: Digital Marketing, LinkedIN, Newsletters, SEO etc. 
  • Manage and use customer data for reporting on sales related projects, figures, and forecasts. 
  • Market analysis: Market share, potential, competitors, overall pricing  
  • Organising and executing Sales Meetings and performance reviews  
  • Visiting and participating in International Trade Shows and Exhibitions  
  • Price negotiations  
  • Support implementation of online webshop 
  • Pricelist management  
 

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Several years of B2B sales experience (essential) in “volume sales” (desirable) 
  • Experience working with multiple international distributors 
  • Laboratory equipment/scientific environment experience (desirable)  
  • Full Clean Driving Licence (essential)  
  • Flexibility with regards to travelling abroad  
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite, ERP/CRM system)  
  • Negotiation skills  
  • Able to work well independently as well as leading a team.  
  • Self-driven, motivated, can work well under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Meticulous attention to detail
